you know, I read that. I cannot emphasize enough, that I don't approve. It's heinous for a male 20+ to have sex with a 14 YO.

That said, there a vast chasm of difference between a man having sex with a 14YO and a man having sex with his 12YO daughter. The first is not acceptable, a mistake and a problem but potentially(and I stress that) forgivable depending on the circumstance. I've known 14Yo girls that have thrown themselves at men trying to get sex. We spent time correcting that behavior and fortunately the men resisted. But, for a father to trade sex with his own daughter for money(cigs) is so far beyond acceptable, this animal needs garroted.

Oh, I agree with you on the distinction. I was a teenage female once - I had a friend exactly this girl's age who went after her much older married male host in our year abroad program in France, seducing him with laserlike precision. He (& his wife) never knew what hit him. 14 year old girls in the US are perfectly capable of doing plenty on their own without any prodding from pedophiles. Still, the MOM actually putting this kid up to it with a contract no less is repulsive & the cops are right to go after her for pimping her kid. She depended on these people for food & shelter, you can't seperate that from any willingness to participate on her part.That said, he needs to fry for what he's done to his daughter alone.
