I am very disappointed in Olmert.

Ah yes, everything will be fine now. Maybe the UN can collect money from its members to rebuild Lebanon. Iran and Syria will be more than happy to contribute goods for rebuilding.

This is unfortunate. When the Hezballah start rocketing next time it will be with much more effective rounds, either chemical or WMD of some type, and probably better targeting.

Nasrallah is going to torpedo this deal.
Just a hunch.

That's an understatement. If he had any honor, he would resign.

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice leaves a meeting with U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan (not pictured) at the United Nations about the conflict in Lebanon, in New York, August 11, 2006. The United States and Lebanon said on Friday a deal on a U.N. resolution to end Israel's month-old war with Hizbollah guerrillas was in sight. (Chip East/Reuters)

I blame Bush who instructed Rice and Bolton to ruin a chance for Israel to strike a crushing blow on the war on terror. He lost me. Where in the hell did he go. The Republican party is done and we will have suffered hard.

This makes me sick to my stomach. Olmert might as well shoot his own troops and people if he does this.

The agreement calls for the deployment of 30,000 Lebanese and U.N. troops along the Israel-Lebanon border. It falls short of some of Israel's demands, including a strong mandate for the U.N. forces to take on Hezbollah guerrillas. I'm sure that at some time in the future the people of Israel will thank you for allowing the Hizzies time to re arm and regroup, Mr. Olmert)
Hey Olmert......
Try this approach why doncha.........

Don't be. Don't think he had much choice. It isn't insignificant that for the first time since this battle began he (Olmert) talked with GW today.
I am dissapointed with all the leadership in the west.
We are just putting off the inevitable and will make it much tougher when/if we do ever get to the point of really understanding what this is all about.

So the Lebanese' and the Hez' position is "widely assumed" to be positive, but our guy Olmert just couldn't wait to agree with the draft...
30,000 Lebanese troops including unspecified number of blue helmets without any mandate to shoot to kill - they're useless, and it's pure defeat for Israel.
For the first time in 60 years.
It's my blackest day.

Israeli officials said Israel would not halt fighting until Israel's Cabinet has approved the cease-fire deal in its weekly meeting Sunday Could this be an out?
To: garbageseeker
Hezbollah won't be able to hold their fire.
Olmert might not be around much longer.
Stay tuned to round 2.

That f*ckn omellette ....
Early in this confrontation I said that Israel was all blah blah blah...
At one time during this war I though I might have been wrong...I was not.
Today is a day that will be looked upon by those STUPID Israelis as one of the worst days in their short history...
How could the Israelis vote this piece of s*ht into office?
This day is equivalent to Jummy Carter's impotence towards the Iranians...which led to 911 25 years later...
Only this time, Israel's 911 will come much faster and exceed any 911 in terms of casualties...maybe than, they will retaliate...
The Israelis have themselves to blame...F*CK lawyer...
So disappointed.....
