I thought you had that vigilante dude Black Angels or whatever protecting the subways. In fact, I rather thought that's where the Minute Men dude got his idea. The Guardian Angels are Cutis Sliva's guys, and supposedly the DO patrol the subways, but I think I've seen two in 20+ years of riding the trains. The police presence has been periodically pretty heavy this summer. There was a terrorist threat back in August after India got bombed, and I had my back checked once or twice. The sad truth is that the terrorists can hit us there whenever they want, and eventually they will. If there is an attack on the subways and I am not right back up on FR within a few days, you'll know they got me.
I used to work in the WTC. I was away on business on September 11.

I'm very sorry, Pres. You must have lost a lot of friends and associates. I was alone that day and even at the distance I still can hardly believe what happened.
But, perhaps you're too plucky for 'em, anyway.
