2 Held on Terror Charges in Ohio

MARIETTA, Ohio - Two men were charged Wednesday with money laundering in support of terrorism after authorities said they found airplane passenger lists and information on airport security checkpoints in their car.

Deputies stopped Osama Sabhi Abulhassan, 20, and Ali Houssaiky, 20, both of Dearborn, Mich., on a traffic violation Tuesday. They found the flight documents along with $11,000 cash and 12 phones in the car, said Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks.

Looks like a way to hit all the Walmarts for phone purchases without arousing suspicion. I'll bet this ties in with the exposure by the NY Times of the government call monitoring program.

Just use a cell for a short time discard it and go on to another to throw off any monitoring.

I am sitting here in the ghetto of Toronto, Canada, an 8 hour drive from my hometown in Southeastern Ohio. and I see this and realize that I am safe NOWHERE in this modern world. this is so sad.

I grew up going into the Marietta area a lot. I know that city. it is only an hour from my homeplace.

and there are terrorists in SE OHIO.

I feel just as safe in Toronto now.

AFAIK it's very difficult to get a hold of passenger lists unless you work for the airlines or have access to the computer reservation system, i.e, travel agents.

Also, the authorities can pinpoint the day the attack was to occur by knowing the passenger list.

Dearborn is really 2 towns, East Dearborn and West Dearborn. They are divided by a 4 lane highway and culturally disconnected. East Dearborn is very muslim and West Dearborn is very blue collar, young professional Americans. I live in Dearborn and stay on the West side. Most people stick to their own side of Southfield freeway.
