You raise good points...but as always- as Tony Snow reminded us yesterday what's said in private isn't always what's said in public. Also- a lot of the pressure not to go full in a ground invasion is coming from Olmert - there's a great deal of division right now in the Israeli governemnt. Besides that- for PC reasons there must be ongoing diplomatic efforts ..
I hope that privately we are encourging Israel to finish this job in Lebanon then. Syria and Iran need to be dealt with next and that will require the US.
