This is probably nothing.
If it’s photo manipulation, it’s certainly an incredibly mundane example, and I can’t think of a reason why anyone would do it.
I’m tossing this to the lizardoid community for comment from the other photoshop geeks out there, without rendering any judgment yet.
In other words, I am not saying this is a definite fake; I know we’ve got quite a few experts at digital manipulation among our readers, and I’m sincerely asking for their opinions.
But look at the image of the man in the lower right corner; the more I examine it, the more it resembles a man’s head crudely pasted onto the body of a woman. Note the scarf under his chin, the outlines of something else at the right of his head, and more artifacts at the top and left of his head.
And note the rest of the clothing, which resembles the other women’s clothing much more than the men’s. The lighting of his face seems off, as well.

I'm not sure it's the same lady, but I wouldn't be at all surprised.
It was one of the Pali "leaders" that was quoted a while back, as saying he could not understand why all African-Americans did not support the Palestinian cause.
This may be follow up on that take.
As to the picture, I want to know why the blue robe on the person behind him is draped over his right shoulder?!

Yea, it is called the liberals at the NY Slimes, Reuters, WPO, TRB...who deserve to be....
the head is MUCH larger in proportion to the rest of the crowds heads...

Look at the back of the guy's head. There's a brown piece of something sticking out that has no relation to anything else back there.

I totally agree, but the cartoon suggests he's just shaved off one layer of grumpy and still goin' strong.
Looks like it could be fake (much more than the shot of the guy firing near some kids).
Why doctor that image?
Who knows.
The Soviets routinely would paint people in and out of shots. Sometimes because they fell out of favor with the powers that be. Sometimes because their mere presence made fearless leader look like he couldn't do a task by himself.
The Soviets got so used to doctoring images, it was not uncommon to see 3 or 4 variations on the image with some other detail changed each time it saw print.
Photo doctoring can become a craft and an addiction to itself.
Let the mainstream media hunt for these kinds of image.
Only raise the red flag on those that are staged or manipulated for the purpose of yellow journalism and propaganda.
