Congrats Moore, Lieberman will easily win the general as an independent and will have more leverage than ever if the Dems want him to caucus with them. (He will, but he will do it on his terms.)

BINGO! We have a winner! No Republican has the slightest chance in CT so, with Independent and Republican voters, Lieberman wins with no net change except to his "political capital".

I don't know that Lieberman will win his seat easily, but I think he can win it. Since CT has so many independents, that makes me think that they don't wish to be drug down by party partisans. Otherwise, they would identify a party. While Moore and his ilk may enjoy a season for their ego, they should perhaps heed the era of McGovern and what those anti-war zealots did to their party.
