Representing the far-left wing that is said to now be running the Democrat Party, Michael Moore is warning all Democrat candidates for office that they must tow the leftist line or face defeat as did Senator Joe Lieberman. Moore also warns these candidates that the left-wing of the Democrat Party will work actively to defeat all candidates that do not support an anti-war policy and an immediate withdrawal from Iraq.
Moore’s website states: “Let the resounding defeat of Senator Joe Lieberman send a cold shiver down the spine of every Democrat who supported the invasion of Iraq and who continues to support, in any way, this senseless, immoral, unwinnable war. Make no mistake about it: We, the majority of Americans, want this war ended -- and we will actively work to defeat each and every one of you who does not support an immediate end to this war.
“Nearly every Democrat set to run for president in 2008 is responsible for this war. They voted for it or they supported it. That single, stupid decision has cost us 2,592 American lives and tens of thousands of Iraqi lives. Lieberman and Company made a colossal mistake and we are going to make sure they pay for that mistake. Payback time started last night.”
Oh I agree, it's been steadily happening since 1994.

The Democrats are doing a McGovern turn to the Far Left. They have failed to see what got them into the White House. And they have sent a message to Jews. YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE.
Any Jews too delusional to face reality deserve what they get.
Republicans should say to Centrists and Moderates. "We have a big Tent. Come join us. We don't hate Jews or Israel. And you are welcome to have opinions not the same as the Party Platform. Blacks, Hispanics, Patriotic Gays are welcome too."
The Democrats are drinking the Cool Aid. When Michael Moore and Cindy I love Weed Sheehan is your voices of reason you are nuts. When the Dailykos.com is your party's voice you have lost touch with reality. The Democrats should just rename themselves the Social Democratic Party of America. Because thats what they truly are. Socialists who dispise our Republic.
That's why it's easy to understand why rock hard conservatives such as Tancredo are treated like outcasts in their own party by the RINO'S and other pretenders/actors.......and they'll also be the one's wailing away when they get their collective asses kicked in Nov.
Now we know where all that weird Pentegon spending goes -- into the evil Mr. Rove's mind control microchip R&D department! I don't now how they managed to come up with time-release capsule that is invisible in Kool-Aid, but they did it.

I don't know if Lieberman can win as an independant, but I do think it will free him from pandering to the Democrat Party and Dean's maniacs. I wondered why he was using Mad Maxine as a target, but it might be part of a plan to show just how crazy the Dems have become. It could work!
So that explains the recent cooling trend!

I said on another thread that the Republicans keep trying to shoot themselves in the foot but every time they aim the rats bump their elbow and make'em miss.

democrat = progressive = communist in my book already. I wish Bush would talk more about freedom and less about democracy. Democracy is not a good thing or something to be aspired to. It is mob rule, bread and circuses, survival of the fittest.
You must be a lot more familiar with CT politics than I. Usually, these third party bids by name pols don't work out so well.
McGovern and his ilk led the party to electoral disaster, but they still had firm control of Congress, both houses IINM, maybe even filibuster proof. They proceeded to hound the Vice-President and President out of office, hand Southeast Asia over to genocidal dictators. Now we have control of Congress, and we need better margins. I hope they continue to commit suicide under our walls.
Prediction -- Both Lieberman and Tom Delay will be returning to Congress in January.
I respectfully disagree.
This is a chance for use to EDUCATE those of the mushy moderate persuasion. We have been very successful in TEACHING people how the conservative movement is the more enlightened and best political position to have.
This is not a time to be pushed into the corner, this is a time to welcome those refugees yearning to think free.
