I'm inclined to think he will lose, but I know little of Conn. politics.

Beyond whether he wins or loses, I have a natural dislike and disrespect for folks who change their political affiliations. He was happy to be a Dim as long as he was winning. Now, he wants to change to an Indy so he can run. Does he or does he not believe in whatever platform the dims have?

Politicians are hookers and they don't even have to spend any time on their backs!

My favorite statesman of my lifetime, Ronald Reagan, changed his political affiliation.

Sometimes, the party really does leave the person.
