I am aware of the dangers. I love my critters from inside the house looking out...I don't try to make "pets" out of them. They are here in the ravine area whether I feed them or not.
I knocked down a yellow jacket nest and thought about you, Tas..You should have seen the garb I rigged up all sprayed with "Off" to go after the nest..
I looked like a cart pushing homeless lady wearing winter clothes in the summer..and a poor man's beekeeper combined.The yellow jackets are rebuilding it as fast as they can.. ..I must have attracted them with the hummingbird feeder I recently put out. I will have to do it again tomorrow. Any solutions? It is right close to where I walk out on my patio.
