In terms of attractiveness to us guys, was just saying I don't understand how a gun, camo fatigues or rucksack adds an "extra turn on" to a young lady's beauty. Not trying to judge guys preferences here, just trying to grasp the reasoning behind it.

I don't know, maybe it's not reasoning, but instinct. It is kind of a paradox that when an attractive lady does certain "guy" things, like shooting, or using logic, their attractiveness seems to be increased, as long as they maintain their femininity (just kidding about the logic!). Tomboys can really be alluring. OTOH, when guys do female type things, like working as waitresses on airplanes, getting jobs as nurses, or carrying purses, it's just faggy.

I don't know why it's so, but it is. Could be that the worth of the female is increased by a display of usefulness and intelligence.

The biggest problem I have with women in combat is the way the enemy can play on our (male) desire to love and protect our women to terrorize and demoralize us.

Maybe you're right, all that guy stuff just contrasts with their femaleness, and makes the femininity even more obvious. Kind of like white looks even whiter when you put it next to a dark color.

I served with a ton of women soldiers in the IDF.
They were definitely the toughest, most amazing women I've ever met anywhere in the world.

In fact, almost all of my combat instructors were women. They went to bed later than we did and woke up earlier than we did. They ran faster than any of us trainees and wore more combat gear while doing it!

I'd say it's honestly worth the trip to Israel just to meet them. They reach levels of hotness you never knew existed.
