Why do they write articles that seem to be more intended to confuse than to enlighten? Right at the beginning it said the woman was going for umbilical stem-cell treatment, and then the rest of the article was about embryonic stem-cells. I don't think they ever really explained the difference.

It reminds me of something attributed to Winston Churchill "Many people use statistics the way a drunk uses a lamppost -- more for support than illumination."

Perhaps the author doesn't know the difference?
