Ahmadinejad is the puppeteer and Hezbollah is the puppet. This entire situation was dreamed up by this man.

I didn't know that Omar from Iraq The Model was ever picked up for a guest commentary in any USA newspapers. Interesting...
Ahmadinejad and the mullahs in Iran need to be removed then the Middle East will end.

Interesting article. The analysis is less hysterical but ultimately more disturbing than anything else I have seen on the subject.

you point is essentially correct. Thanks to Jimmy Carter the mullahs have been allowed to create a state, consolidate their power and are now exporting their islamic extremism. However, it is in the very nature of islam that the present craziness would arise. Either the shiites, sunni's or more importantly the wahabis.

It's common wisdom to say that the war between Hezbollah and Israel is a regional struggle that also includes Iran and Syria, who have supported and supplied Hezbollah. What seems to be less understood is that this is the first war between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel, via Iran's proxy Hezbollah, and that its overarching purpose is to advance Iran's ambitions to export the Islamic revolution throughout the Middle East. This is why Israel shouldn't even refer to "Hezbollah". They should always refer to them as "Iran's proxy army."
For example: "Today the IDF destroyed 18 Iranian-proxy-army rocket launchers..."

There is sufficient evidence that Iranian Revolutionary Guard units are there on the ground fighting alongside Hezbollah against IDF forces.

To: nocommies
A cease fire will be a big mistake. Isreal needs to burn Hezbollah off the face of the planet.

Hitler should have been stopped at an earlier point in his rise to power. Islamo-fascism needs to be stopped now.

imagine hussein's wmd go full circle and they end up fired at israel by hezbollah, supplied to hezbollah by, you guessed it, DAMASCUS...where hussein dumped them before the war!!

Iran needs to fight its battle with the United States on its own terms. Saddam Hussein tried to drag Israel into the fight after we attacked during the Gul War in 1991.
I'm A Whackjob in Iran is trying to drag Israel in early so any action against Iran over its nukes looks like a pro-Israel thing.
He needs time to get his nukes ready and hopes to complicate any moves against him.
Once he has nukes he can create a standoff using fear of nukes to prevent any decisive action against the Iranian regieme.
Whackjob is just a figurehead for the real power in Iran, the mullahs.
