I'm not sure about any numbers that I'm seeing right now....
I'd have thought that the first results posted would have been early voting results. But maybe they're tabulating those along with today's results.
I'd say Corker has them one - but I'm gonna hold off some 'til I see a few more counties report in...namely Shelby, Williamson and Hamilton.
Seriously? The Natalee Holloway case - again?
I guess they got sick of reporting on Lebanon...
Shelby County?
Suburban Shelby County - or Memphis proper?
I guess it doesn't make a difference. They have to hold back.
Suburban Shelby County should come in strongly for Ed Bryant.
Amended US Senate numbers from The Tennessean:
U.S. Senate Republican primary - (25 of 2432 precincts reporting)
Corker - 24708
Bryant - 12150
Hilleary - 6893
Harrison - 338
Geographically, I do not know where these precincts are from
from Tricities.com....
.....Local county elections commissions are reporting that the polls are officially closed; however individuals in line will have the opportunity to vote.
According to election officials in Carter County, some precincts there may stay open until nearly 11 p.m. Some voters in that area are filling out ballots by hand and elections officials must count those individually, according to commission officials.
In Washington and Sullivan counties, it could be 9 p.m. or later before precincts begin reporting their results......"
Looks like a very long night.
"
Are they not giving the Dem results for the Senate race?
Amazingly, they're not. Only GOP Senate results...

thanks
thanks for doing the leg work.
I had all of my friends in Tennesse vote for Bryant . Looks like Hilleary should have stayed out of this one .
Not a problem. I'm not on dial-up for a change.
What I'm not clear about is which part of the state has reported so far.
Same here.
If Corker's pre-election poll number are holding up, it could across the board.
But some of these numbers may be from Hamilton County (Chattanooga) too. They're Eastern Time - so they'd have likely reported first.

US Senate (R)
Precincts Reporting: 26 Of 2364 1%
Winner Candidate Incumbent Votes Vote %
Bob Corker 27357 54%
Ed Bryant 13641 27%
Van Hilleary 8793 18%
Tate Harrison 412 1%
Unfortunate....
It will really be a bummer if Tennessee voters have to choose between a scion of the political Memphis Mafia and Chattanooga Chafee.
UGH!!!
