That's right and then hold their feet to the fire from day one.

Clinton gave a stem winder speech for Ford. The man has talent. He has a gift. He loved every minute of it. You could just see the joy emerging from every pore of his being.

Corker may actually get over 50% of the vote. If he does, then it would mean that the Bryant and Hilleary splitting the vote didn't matter.

Demoralizing for Hilleary. He should have listened and played in the Guv race...

As for that little punk Hilleary, I wouldn't support him to run for dogcatcher now. I wonder how much he was paid off to split the vote. He knew a long time ago he was never going to win and would only steal votes from Bryant. A real man would've gotten out and endorsed Bryant.

Too bad that speech is not working for Joe Lieberman.

Hilleary is really the one who hurt Bryant.

No kidding...thanks for giving us Corker, Van...not sure what 'they' promised you, but I hope you enjoy it.

Would love to have a house up on Lookout Mtn or Missionary Ridge.

You need several million dollars and a trust fund that goes back several generations to accomplish that one. You need to come back. The city has changed so much even in the past five years. You wouldn't recognize it.

Thank you though. Chattanooga is an amazing city and has accomplished a lot in the past few years. I moved a few weeks ago and miss it very much.

From the numbers I'm seeing so far, it doesn't appear as though Hilleary's and Bryant's total would add up to defeat Corker.

Of course, having said that, there is still a substantial uncounted vote out there - primarily in West Tennessee.

We'll have to see if Hilleary really was the spolier.

Not only do they know everyone here, but most are related.

Being from L.A. I learned the hard way. Our SIL's family has lived here for over 100 years and I didn't know it..Really stuck my foot in mouth several times before I caught on.

We have have lived here for 35 years, so now we know everyone and are related to most of them.

I still am amazed. Must just be a Tenn. thing.

I don't think Corker will make 50%. We shall see.

Van Hilleary had served with distinction in Congress and as a party activist before that. He's ruined his own record.

Maybe he thought he had so much residual name I.D. from his near-successful run for Governor. That's the only motive I can think of.

I went to Memphis several months ago and saw a ton of hookers.

Then somebody told me it was a Ford family reunion.

Such a crybaby, and apparently an unhinged crybaby.

Yeah, nobody actually wins a primary if your guy doesn't, either they are a RINO or a commie or corrupt or stole it or bought it or blah blah blah blah. Always an excuse, it can never be that voters simply weighed the choices and preferred someone else to yours. Everyone's a RINO but you. If you can't have your way, well then you are going to sabotage it for everyone else. How noble. Yeah, that really helps the country when the Democrats are trying to sabotage the war effort so they can retake power.

What a crybaby.

Must you keep this going?

It looks like it's gonna be a bad enough night as it is, so don't go making it worse.
