Despite a High Court decision, Jerusalem's Temple Mount, Judaism's holiest site, was closed to Jews on the Fast of Tisha B'Av, which mourns the destruction of the Holy Temple. |

Despite the fact that the Mount represents the focal point of the fast, only Muslim woman and Muslim men over the age of 45 were permitted entry Thursday. Israel's Supreme Court ruled two days ago that members of the Temple Mount Faithful could ascend the mount on Tisha B'Av during the normal hours during which non-Muslims are usually allowed on the Mount, Sunday-Thursday. The court ruled that the group could not carry placards, dress in a provocative fashion or draw any attention to themselves - and the group's founder, Gershon Solomon, was to be barred from the Mount altogether. But following threats by Arab MKs and Islamic Movement officials, Police barred not only members of the group but all non-Muslims. They said the decision was due to a fear of violent clashes between Temple Mount Faithful activists and Muslim protesters. Police detained one Jewish man who requested to be allowed to visit the Temple Mount Thursday morning, claiming he obstructed the entrance to the Western Wall to worshipers. Observant Jews have begun visiting the Temple Mount in larger numbers in recent years, but are encouraged to consult with a rabbi knowledgable in the related issues to receive instructions on proper preparations for the visit.

Israelis need to knock the gold abomination off the hilltop and be done with it.
One of the most noxious aspects of Islam is it's tendency to co-opt and build mosques on top of the holy places of other religions - a tendency seen all over northern India - and then refuse to allow the worshippers of the other religions to worship there anymore.
actually i believe this was requested by Israeli law enforcement to avoid having the far right Jewish group that wants to rebuild the temple right now get on Temple Mount to lay a cornerstone around Tisha b'Av. it would have been considered too inflammatory, and this was a way around it.
You're right. But, there were only going to be like 5 of the Temple Mount Faithful allowed there and their leader was barred. I don't think that 5 people could move a cornerstone for the Temple.
Like that's gonna happen.
No. God will just have to take care of it.
You know what the Temple Mount needs? Rib-fest.
Well, that ought to get rid of both groups.
Proof positive that there in no room in this world for anything but Islam for Muslims and by Muslims. Other religions are just something else to be destroyed. The true evil of Islam is that there is no freedom at all.
The crux of Islam is not to destroy the Jewish state, it is to destroy the Jewish people. Western Civilization MUST wake up before it is too late.
There is a word for capitulating to the threat of violence: appeasement. AND IT NEVER WORKS. When will the world learn that?! /shaking head with disgust
A single artillrty shell, like the one that blew the swastika off the Reichchancellory in 1945..
You are 100% correct about this. Muslims do this everywhere they go. Constantinople, Spain, Bosnia, etc. Heck - they even build a mosque on top of Alexander;s Lighthouse!
That Dome of the Rock thing may very well be the "Abomination of Desolation" the bible mentions.
I was thinking along those lines. Have a pork chop strapped to your calve and just let it drop to the ground next to the y'all-ask-now mosque.
(Go Israel, Go! Slap 'Em Down Hezbullies.)
No. I don't think so. I think that will be more the AntiChrist setting up something like his own image in the rebuilt Temple.
If I remember correctly, it isn't even real gold on top.
Better yet, a captured Hezzy rocket, would do just fine....especially one with the old made in Iran stickers.
