You guys are missing one key thing. The return of the nation of Israel to the Middle East. Now, I'm keeping my mind open, and not dwelling on it too much, because we need to be about the Lord's work until the last moment, however, we are also instructed to watch for these things to happen. We cannot know the hour or the day, be we may know the season.
Having said that, I don't honestly know, and that's ok.

That might be important if you believe the "Israel" of the New Testament is literally the nation of Israel, but many Christians see it as representing the entire body of Christian believers--the "new Israel" with whom God has made a new covenant.

The Olivet discourse was directed to a specific group of hearers. Those who heard and heeded headed for the hills in 70 AD, escaping with their lives, alone. They are the "we" who Jesus addressed, not us.
