ARTICLE SNIPPET: "The DuPage County Bomb Squad conducted a sweep of the area around the explosion and removed what was left of the pipe bomb.

Ahern said the device was "crudely made" and was detonated with a timing device in the ticket counter building at the station. The remnants of the device will be sent to a Maryland laboratory to determine what its components were, he said."
