"Chlorine (a gas, actually, not a true aerosol) destroys the lungs as a gas, but as a dilute fluid, you literally bathe in it."
No thanks. My hair is getting white enough on it's own.
Ummm. Doesn't chlorine cause 'burns' because of it's acidity?

Very very irresponsible of these companies not to protect their workers. I will add that people who do not learn English do so at their own risk. There is also what I can only term as a cultural disregard for health in favor of work.

"It is now time
to use the scientific evidence to protect American workers from debilitating lung disease," and the Satan in the White House.

FWIW, high fructose corn syrup is both "pure" and "organic."
"Healthy" might be a different matter, of course.

Almost all city water contains chlorine as a disinfectant. Highly diluted, of course.

They've known about this for years. I heard about this three years ago.
How much do you want to bet that these two are in the "hurt by secondhand smoke" statistics anyway?

"Tell that to the ant-smoking Nazis, who attribute any lung cancer or heart disease to smoking or exposure to tobacco, however distant."
I'd be interested in seeing a column or some material where anti-smokers attribute ALL lung cancer or heart disease to smoking. Can you help?

I propose that if she had made $60/ hour instead of $6, she would be less appealing to the Hysteria Lobby as a victim.

I knew that.
I was referring to 'pure' chlorine.
I have had 'bleach' burns before. Although they were more a skin irritation than a burn.

I now seek out healthy, pure and when possible, organic foods for my family. "Pure distilled water and pure grain alcohol."

I now seek out healthy, pure and when possible, organic foods for my family. So I guess a load of fried pork rinds from a free range (organic) pig is okay then? As long as they're fried in organic vegetable oil. (:^*)

>>>>>>Diacetyl's potent punch was no secret to its manufacturers. At least one of them, the German giant BASF, had performed experiments in the 1970s showing diacetyl fumes to be extraordinarily effective at killing lab rats. <<<<
BASF has expertise in this field. Before 1951 it was known as I.G. FARBEN.
Nazi philosophy of eliminiating undesirables lives on, albeit in veiled fashion.

There used to be a dairy farmer in my town that made "corn squeezins"
First time he offered me a glass, I thought it was water and took a big gulp!
Pure, organic Hell! I got used to it though,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Hacking and gasping, Irma Ortiz could cart her groceries only so far before she'd catch other shoppers glaring at her. Ortiz, 44, and Herrera, 34, are odd candidates for lung transplants, being nonsmokers and having considerable youth on their side. [Article blames it on] artificial food flavorings.SECOND HAND FAT!!!!
We need immediate regulations. I want a Fat Free section in my restaurant. I want fat-bans on airlines.
And fat people have to stand more than 100 yards from any doorway.
