Off topic. Know you're posting the wildfire threads for the SW. Watching live webcasting from El Paso. Have had up to 15 inches rain the past few days -- Flooding widespread. Rio Grande river 9 ft. above flood stage, all border crossings closed, many roads closed. I-10 closed coming from the west into Texas. Showing Fort Bliss choppers flying rescue missions.

Wow... Dad lives way out in West Texas in Jeff Davis County, but I do believe his place should be ok even with the floods.
That's the way it's been going this year. Monsoons coming in too heavy, then trying out again,
We had a nice rain this morning here in Ogden, but they's still managed to start some new fires in Nevada today.
