Muy interesante.
That was always Arafat's plan, until the "germs of enrearment" did him in.
Amen and amen! This Lord, be our prayer - the people of Cuba, so faithful to their Faith, and so resilient in the face of hardship, may be someday truly free!
I am looking for links to Cuban Anti-Castro blogs. Thanks in advance.
But is he really, most sincerely, dead?
Start here, then use the blog list at the end of his first post.

Emergency surgery to stop intestinal bleeding sounds like he might have cancer.
He will be dying for months and 100s of FR posts with Castro sitings :))
Some historians believe Buddha died of a mesenteric infarction or thrombosis of the main artery supplying the middle section of the small intestine with blood.
Severe abdominal pain is triggered by a large meal, which requires a higher flow of blood to the digestive tract. As the obstruction persists, the bowel is deprived of its blood supply, which subsequently leads to gangrene of the intestinal tract. The intestinal wall ruptures and results in profuse bleeding into the intestinal tract followed by bloody diarrhea.
Intestine contents ooze into the peritoneal cavity, causing peritonitis or inflammation of the abdominal walls. This is is a potentially lethal condition which, if it is not corrected by immediate surgery, will result in septic shock from the infiltration of bacterial toxins into the blood stream.
With surgery, antibiotics and rest, recovery is possible.
On the other hand, he could have been poisoned...
Buddha's last meal was marinated pork.
I'm seeing it on UniVision now.
LOL!
He looks like your average government employee at the DMV.
Could be a lot of things, most of them benign. It's major surgery no matter what, and could be pretty tough on an older guy.
Are we planning an all night candlelight vigil? ;)
Glad I skipped the Carnitas tacos tonight.
Great post, well stated! And my version of
" beautiful free people"*
would be Barbara Bermudo of Univision's "Primer Impacto", the most magnificent newsbabe of all;)
I'll wager 15 quatloos on "ingestion of caustic poisons".
And I thought Univision was only good for the World Cup and "Caliente"!
