According to local TV coverage (Miami), there are already people celebrating in the streets, as if Castro is already dead. Alot of them have connections back to the homeland, I wonder if they have heard anything? Probably just wishful thinking at this point.

Hopefully his surgeon is a victim of Parkinsons in the late stages.

If something happens to Fidel, the Hugonaut (Chavez) will probably make his move. Can Raul resist?

With the way Cubans party there is no other place I would rather be.
I hope they don't do that "Shoot la pistola into the sky" thing like our SoCal Mexicans do....if that's the case, Miami is NOT the place to be - outside, anyway.

Too bad this couldn't be Fidel's doctor.

Thanks for the update - they haven't interrupted CSI: Miami yet with any news, lol.
I did get to hear a very nice mariachi band (seriesly) live on whatever Spanish TV I was just switching back and forth to - maybe Telemundo, not sure. It's not Azteca, anyway.

From the looks of the DUmmie thread, it looks like one poster is going to get banned.

Perhaps this explains the Venezuela president buddying up to Iran now. Maybe he needs new friends.

Something I can't get a handle on regarding our leftist MSM's love affair with Fidel. Raoul gave very few ( if any ) live interviews to our MSM. Not sure if that was their vote of confidence in Fidel ( them continuing to sell him as a great statesman ) or that Raoul just isn't likable, and they don't want anyone to see it. He gives them nothing to work with to build even a fake image.

Why would a DU poster get banned on a Castro death thread? Was he happy to see the buzzard might be leaving the world?

I looked in on that a while ago. Some of them are grief-stricken. Amazing. BTW, I did take a shower after visiting there. :^)
