Dingell: What's Wrong With Hezbollah?
Powerline ^ | July 31, 2006 | John Hindraker

Posted on 07/31/2006 4:09:43 PM PDT by Lonesome in Massachussets

Yesterday, Representative John Dingell of Michigan appeared on a Detroit television program along with Republican Candice Miller. They discussed the crisis in Lebanon; Dingell proclaimed himself neutral. "I don't take sides for or against Hezbollah; I don't take sides for or against Israel." Asked, "You're not against Hezbollah?" Dingell answers, "No..."

Listen to it here on YouTube, or use our player below.

If the Democrats win control of the House of Representatives, Dingell will be the Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. He was one of the eight Democrats who did not vote in favor of the Congressional resolution supporting Israel in its conflict with Hezbollah.

What's really scary is that his party may once again control one house of Congress and even worse, he may be in a leadership position.

What's even scarier is that there are many conservatives who think we SHOULD let the Demoncrats win to "teach the GOP a lesson".

Even knowing what kind of dangerous fools these Demoncrats are - they think it will "straighten up" the RINOs by putting folks like Dingle into leadership positions.

Now THAT'S scary!

It's going to be burried by the MSM. I may check to see if the KC Jewish Chronicle carried it though...

I doubt if they will.

"BTW, (another Goy here) why is it capitalized? Are there gender inflection forms?"

afaik, it's a public respect thing; (iow, "we" use the lowercase only in private....

LOL! When "we" are not around, no doubt.

But I was serious in my question? Is it that German captitalizing nouns kind of thing? Is there a gender inflected form? (I'm a woman, so if "Goy" is the masculine form, I want to be able to refer to myself with the feminine form.)

I heard about this on Rush...So a U.S. congressman refuses to condemn a sworn enemy of the U.S. Shouldn't Dingell - at the very least - be censured for his comments?

In a recent interview, General Norman Schwartzkopf was asked if he thought there was room for forgiveness toward Hizbollah

The General said,

" I believe that forgiving Hizbollah is God's function. The Israelis' job is to arrange the meeting ."

Over Dingells comments, Expecting any New York City Rabbis to tear their clothes and start throwing dirt in the air.. will not happen..

Says more about the Rabbis than about Dingell..
