I did not know that. I know that that the loading feature Atomic Annie fired had an automatic and manual feature. During the test, they used the manual feature(of course). Before the test, they fired several test shells to gauge the distance. The recoil was breathtaking.

Fascinating! I would think that with such a weapon, there would be time to manually charge it with a fresh round. I suppose though, that as long as your designing one, why not just throw in a feature for the occasions when absolute total annihilation is just not good enough.
