The Israelis came close to using nuclear weapons during the 1973 war.Really? I didn't know that. Why? Were WMD being used on them?

I just find it hysterical thtat this clown would even admit to having to ask his "army" to "raise" their "awareness".

I was talking to a friend today who offered that the Arabs have never in their history fought a traditional war. The Ottomans attacked Constantinople in 1453 with a force of approximately 100,000 men.

Yes, they did. The reason why they had nuclear weapons ready because they were caught by surprise by the Egyptian and Syrian armies. They managed to fight back but they had nuclear weapons ready in case they were losing. They also had nuclear weapons ready for the first Gulf War in case those Scuds had chemical weapons. The U.S. gave Patriot missile systems and a promise not to attack Iraq with nuclear weapons.According to General Georges Sada in his book "Saddam's Secrets," Saddam wanted chemical weapons on those Scuds but was also persuaded that it would invite a nuclear attack from Israel. If Israel is attacked and her back is against the wall expect a nuclear attack on the attacking(Syrian) forces and on Damascus.

I know that that the loading feature Atomic Annie fired had an automatic and manual feature. Fascinating! I would think that with such a weapon, there would be time to manually charge it with a fresh round. I suppose though, that as long as your designing one, why not just throw in a feature for the occasions when absolute total annihilation is just not good enough.

Its a great weapon. The footage of the live fire test is awesome. You must remember, that this weapon along with the Davy Crockett weapon was designed for attack by Russia along the Fulda Gap. There is a 155mm shell that Israel does have in her arsenal.

I did forget to mention that the 155 mm shell variant is a neutron bomb type.

I was talking to a friend today who offered that the Arabs have never in their history fought a traditional war. Even back in the 4th century, they fought in small units and made hit and run strikes. I'd recommend a little more review of the historical record for you and your friend.

Yes they do. The Syrians have surface to missile batteries. But they are Soviet made and rather primitive. They also have an air force but nothing compared to the IDF. They airplanes are Russian made.

If you look at a "active" volcano all the action is inside the volcano and on the outside it looks peaceful. Pressure slowly overtime builds and then explodes violently. This is the Middle East and the problems has been building for decades.Iran and its insistence on bulding a bomb was the key. Iran and Syria are the puppeteers and Hezbollah are the puppets and they were the masterminds of what we are witnessing. We are witnessing either a eruption on a Mt Saint Helens scale that will calm down or a Krakatoa. It still to early to tell, but it looks like with Assad mouth things can spiral out of control with Syria's entry. If Syria crosses the Golan Heights frontier we will witness what a nuclear weapon might do to a population center which is Damascus. The Israelis are not fooling around and they will use nuclear weapons is they are forced.
