Israeli combat soldiers walk along the Israeli northern border with Lebanon. US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is pursuing a new round of Middle East diplomacy as the Lebanon conflict moved into its 19th day, with Israel and Hezbollah exchanging firepower and threats in defiance of international moves toward a ceasefire
"question: who would wear a white dress shirt in the middle of a warzone?"
Not my husband - not if he valued his life that is...
When newspapers print a false story on page A1 they print a retraction on page G15.
Page Hopkins just referred to 'the tape' that the IDF has that shows the location in Qana being used to launch missiles. They are following the story to verify....
The anti Israeli crowd still won't care. They could have been getting ready to launch a nuke at Israel and they still wouldn't care.
Speaking of Fox - Paige looks quite fetching this morning.
Oh man - showing pictures of soldiers wounded in Bint Jbeil now. My heart is breaking.
Beautiful, strong, young men with hearts full of purpose.
Sad, but true...
Anyone heard anything about Sec. Rice postponing her trip to Lebanon?
The PR problem seems to be that Israelis had the sense and the means (not necessarily in that order) to vacate so the Hezzy rockets don't seem to be similar in effectiveness.
lara Logan, CBS Chief Intl. Correspondent is discussing the possibility that if more Israeli bodies were blown up, the double standard might be muted a bit.
SICK!
Dean Reynods, ABC media saying the Israelis ASSUME they will lose the PR war...and because the destruction is so much so severe in Lebanon with dramatic pictures, they lose.
she was uninvited.
We report, you decide.
Better to lose the PR war and have Hezzbollah crushed than vice versa.
Well, she can't do jack until the Lebanese pick a side.

The United Nations is impotent. Thats the only diagnosis an objective person can arrive at by looking at the facts. Time and time again, the United Nations has been called upon to protect innocent people and has failed........
You can't possibly be asking the home based media to do some actual work!??!
I think she can't do anything because Lebanon HAS picked a side...the wrong one.
My bad...what WAS I thinking?
I think the SOS not only cancelled her second trip to Lebanon, but I think she's also flying home tomorrow.
"Anyone heard anything about Sec. Rice postponing her trip to Lebanon?"
She was disinvited or she declined to go because of the situation on the ground.
It was hard to tell from the commentary and reportage.
I don't know about that, though. Has anyone actually seen the Lebanese armed forces commanders picking a side? Or are they just standing around with their thumbs up their behinds?
