Rice has "theater myopia". Happens to generals too. She needs to get home, talk with Bush, and zoom out a bit for a long look at the big picture. Tired, not well plugged in, seeing her efforts go up in smoke and she reacted to the immediate situation, not unexpected.
Not a problem with her personally so far, but she and Bush definitely need to reign in some loose cannons at State, all kinds of hogwash being spoken in out name our of there.
I Googled Yammouni Lebanon...one of the hits was someone's pics from "Yammouni, on the eastern edge of Mt. Lebanon." There were also hits that referenced "Yammouni Nature Reserve"....if this helps.
Dennis Deconcini on Fox just said that Bush HAS to call for an IMMEDIATE cease fire because of the Qana episode.
