Due to God's promise to Abraham, these people have overcome every conqueror since the dawn of mankind and still have their culture intact.

Likewise, without America Israel would not exist.

The One True God of Jews and Christians is a Merciful God. He is many other things, but both the Old Covenant and the New Covenant teach mercy, which sincere followers take to heart.
Allah/Satan is without Mercy. It is not an ethic or value of mohammedanism. They know we show mercy when possible and that this gives them an "advantage."
The real advantage, however, as you have stated IS obedience to and trust in the One True God, as His way ultimately leads to peace and His goal is peace.
Allah/Satan only lives by the sword and will die by the sword.
