Open Line Friday!!!!
It was a joke of course. It was on Hardball last night.
Chrissy asked her if she really thought Clinton was "gay". Of course she wrote that as a metaphor and when Chrissy refused to accept that she said Algore was a fag. LOL
She beat the crap out of Chrissy for 40 minutes.
Reminds me of the old "40 reasons why beer is better than women" list.
Enjoy Raster, I'm waiting on a Reuben myself...have a good weekend!
Re: the segment from the Today Show. This is a shining example of why liberals aren't taken seriously.
Fries? lol
I never watch that show, but I wish I had last night!
Rueben sounds good...I may stop by the deli after a haircut. Coveniently, they are next door to each other!
Chips!
Don't forget the pickle spear!
Somebody please post a link to a youtube of the bike stealing.
I don't watch either normally. I was flipping around when I caught it.
Oh you just KNOW he's going to mention Sheehan. He always talks about her whenever she does something stupid.
That was on Chrissy's show.
MATTHEWS: Let me ask you about your private life. How do you know that Bill Clinton is gay?
COULTER: He may not be gay, but Al Gore, total fag. No, I`m just kidding. As someone ...
MATTHEWS: That`s based on your private life?
COULTER: No, that`s a joke.
MATTHEWS: Oh, OK.
COULTER: That`s what we call in the writing business a joke. No, I mean, I state a manifestly obvious fact. Someone pointed it out on Free Republic, I think, a little disgruntled yesterday. Ann`s amazing capacity is to state the obvious and make it news. I mean, everyone has always known wildly promiscuous heterosexual men have, as I say, a whiff of the bathhouse about them.
MATTHEWS: But you know, you were on -- I was watching you on Deutsch last night. I watched it because it`s all over the blog sites. You were immortal in that interview, by the way, and you said it because you were sort of pushed to say it. I just wonder if you believe it.
COULTER: This is standard ...
MATTHEWS: It`s a joke. It`s a joke. It`s not a joke.
COULTER: It`s not only not a joke, it`s not even surprising. If feminists were not so in love with Bill Clinton -- this is like standard -- for any feminist with the benefit of something beyond a community college education, this is standard feminist doctrine that wild promiscuity shows a fear or hostility of women.
[sometime later in the interview...]
MATTHEWS: So just to straighten it out for the record, because people check these things, Ann. Your word is taken seriously. The joke or the reference you made about Bill Clinton being some kind of raging heterosexual, therefore a homosexual, that logic is not a joke? That`s for real?
COULTER: It`s manifestly obvious and not contested by anyone except when you`re a defending and love Bill Clinton.
MATTHEWS: But the one about Al Gore -- but the Gore -- but you`ve got to delineate these things. Is Al Gore being the guy that you said he was, is that description ...
COULTER: That was a joke.
MATTHEWS: OK, good.
Couldn't do that! Almost the best part.
Thanks a ton to both of you! I'm heading over there now.
College access for all?? Dam socialists.
Matthews was so far out of his class it was almost painful to see.
