Sorry to be so late getting back to you. They are making me WORK today! Yes, Cindy is still fasting for an hour at a time. From recent pictures I'd say she is actually gaining weight. Too bad we don't have a Jamba Juice. Do you think she could make do with Bahama Bucks? Kind of pricy, but she appears to have plenty of money.

She has her own 501c3 "charity" from which she has collected who knows how many thousands. She also is a front man for CodePink/Global Exchange (another "charity").
And she also gets money for her Valley Girl speeches (via her CP/GE speakers bureau). It's been said she gets as much as $30,000 a speech.
Cindy herself has previously claimed she has traveled, gotten a new apartment in Berkeley and even bought a car, just on Casey's insurance money.
But you're bigger question is right. This land was undoubtedly purchased with funds co-mingled through all of these taxpayer supported "charities."
BTW, lest we forget, Mother Sheehan has vowed to never pay taxes again. I wonder if that includes property tax?

Yeah, the media and the pols do that stuff all the time. I remember when HilRod was running for office and it came out that the MSM had been doing Man-in-the-street interviews of the SAME GUY, repeatedly. Of course the MSM was able to keep that on the "down low."

On the north side of the triangle were the counter-protesters and the location was named Camp Reality. I held a sign there in the early evening until a dust and lightening storm drove us to shelter in our cars.

While I completely agree with you sentiment, I also find this statement until George's resignation or impeachment equally offensive.
President Bush was ELECTED by the majority of the American people, and has done NOTHING even close to an impeachable offense. This is getting very old and tiresome and why a handful of people are given this much press is beyond my comprehension.

Well everyone but the county property tax assessor and tax collector, that is. And the many people employed in the county code enforcement office.
