All,
This is the most amazing video I have seen and I am now po'ed to no end. Brings home why we are in the middle east right now.
It's a phone call of Kevin Cosgrove to a 9/11 operator while in Tower 2 of the World Trade Center. The call is set to video and is chilling.

Again, the radical Islamists are willing to get down and dirty and use every method necessary to win this world war. We must be willing to do the same...
So when are you shipping out? Or are you content to demand that other people fight for you?
Ditto. I'm crying, too. They HAVE TO DIE.
On this thread they're similar....
Chilling tape. God rest the souls of all of those murdered on that day. The one I feel the worst for is the operator. She had nothing to offer him but platitudes and hope and has to live with this everyday of her life.
I'm too upset to say anything else. JimRob would have to ban me.
I agree with freedom of association.

Unfortunately, I agree with you! Dan Simmons quoted some surveys in his defense of his short story some time ago, where it shows that in alot of un-whackjob countries, there was a huge amount of sympathy for terrorists.. who knows, might be more targets than I want to think about. But I think if we eliminate the real fanatics, we can do major damage to the ideology.
Collateral damage is one thing, but the guy is advocating genocide. Do you agree with 100% extermination of all Muslims? That to me sounds awful "Final Solution"-ish.
Wow. Chilling. Realistically, though, nobody was getting out of those upper floors even if the building hadn't collapsed. If the three men weren't going to try to save themselves somehow, nobody was going to make it up there in time.
I feel sorry for the 9-1-1 dispatcher. She might have known all along she was talking to a dead man.
Are you sure that's the way it's going?
Nope, I'm not the one trying to fight a war from behind a computer. Join the Marines and have at 'em.
>>A "peaceful" muslim is simply one who's run out of ammunition...
Nope, that's why they carry knives.
This thread is good troll bait, they don't want anyone to get mad again.
The men and women who died that day will never be forgotten. Nor will our guys out fighting the Islamic cultists, and those who choose to side with them.
little she could to help him. Yeah, everybody else has been posting how he was under such stress, etc. -- that's exactly the point. Extraordinary stress brings out 'the real you.' We have plenty of recorded phone calls of other people, like those on the hijacked jets or in other emergencies altogether, who do *not* take out their fears and frustrations on whoever happens to answer the phone.
Maybe this situation was a little more 'real' to this guy...He had the smoke and he seemed to know for sure he was going to die...He clearly had no hope...The ones on the planes mabe had some hope of survival...
What struck me were this guy's last words...He called out to God...It was a prayer of desperation...Destitution...That's what it take for lots of folks to call on God...
Was it enough to get saved??? I hope so...I suspect there were many, many people that were waiting for the end who had private conversations with God...And maybe some didn't...
