If I had my druthers it would be law in TX that you can not charge more the 3K to sell a house.

Bottom line is that some 'freepers' advocate fascism by government price and wage controls instead of capitalism.

If real estate is such easy money why don't more freepers go for it?

That's what I'm saying, these discussions are so selfish.

"It's so much money for no work." But nobody is racing to the license classes to get on this gravy train. Sometimes agents suck sometimes agents get an easier payoff(Like any job), but day in and day out, it's hard stressful work. I think the median salary of an agent is 17k/year. Of course nobody is concerned with agents when the market is terrible). And then they want some kind of regulation. How about just paying the commission you're comfortable with? Because deep down they know good service commands more.

I do not like anyone being overpaid. I want to work a hard satisfying life. But if you hate agents, look in the mirror at YOUR choices.
