I started thinking about your post and What are you going to do?

I know this much, I sure aint as scared of Russians as I was when I stood at their wall; and I knew that the Commies had enough T72s that they would have shoved my keyster in the Atlantic in less then 24 hours.

I don't have the respect that I did because of their missile systems (as we discussed earlier). And the fact that we have some real tank killers on our side. On video, I saw six Apaches knock out an entire division of Saddam's T72s. I also know that we have a tank killer in the A10. Plus, the A10 takes a beating. And what really makes me happy is we can drop bombs inside of windows.

Now, it is true that we have a good weapons system. And now to answer your question, we must continue to spend money on our defense. We must continue to stay on the cutting edge. I love to spend money on US Defense. It creates jobs and a strong military at the same time.

I think as long as we build and maintain a military second to none, we should be able to maintain peace through strength with the use of doe ve i no pro ve i (trust but verified - Reagan used to say it).

If there are any spelling God's reading this, I know that I butchered the spelling of the Russian phrase trust but verified. I spelled it the way it sounds to me.

Massive militay spending by the Reagan Administration brought down the farleft of the demoRAT party, the Russian bolsheviks, IMHO. For this, the left in this country will always hate Reagan.

It was said that the reason the bolsheviks lasted as long as they did, was that early on the conservatives didn't understand, and the liberals were infected. How many innocent Russians were killed by just Lenin, and his minimee, Stalin? Don't they say it was in the 20 millions. I believe that in the black book of communism they put the death total by communists at over 100 million during the 20th century. When radical islamofascism has finally flickered out, I'll bet were nearing that 100 million deaths mark. So that's what we have to look forward to in this coming brave new world leftist utopia. Once again, the left will be standing there with blood on their hands.

I hope we continue funding the military. I'd like to see something more than just 3% of GNP. I think it is too low given the gathering clouds of war (iran,venezuela,china, neo-ussr,somalia,cuba,france).
