Emil Lahoud is an obviulsy Christian name. He is not Shiite as you wrote

Emil Lahoud's father Jamil Lahoud was apparently a Syrian Orthodox Christian. His mother, Adrienne Bajakian, was a French-educated Armenian Orthodox Christian.

I assume that Lahoud was baptized into his father's church, as was the custom then, but I seriously doubt he even claims to be a practicing Christian - his religion is for all practical purposes doing whatever Syria wants him to do.

..thanks...yes, I already apologized for that...my memory did not serve me well on that...got them mixed up but knew all three were of different ethnic background....thanks for pointing that out.
