That's unfortunately what happened, most likely.

IMO, Condi is wasting her time in the Middle East ... she needs to get to Moscow and give Putin a major talking-to, stat. Vlad needs to know in no uncertain terms that we will blow the lid off Russian complicity in Saddam's WMD cover-up if he continues provide military assistance to anti-American regimes.

I would be surprised if Syria still had them. They either destroyed them so as not to eventually get caught with it or they have already been shipped out. Hope I'm wrong. The ultimate irony is that these WMD's end up being used in places like France and Spain. The "SEE WE TOLD YOU SO YOU FRIGGIN SURRENDER MONKIES" would be priceless.
