I would be surprised if Syria still had them. They either destroyed them so as not to eventually get caught with it or they have already been shipped out. Hope I'm wrong. The ultimate irony is that these WMD's end up being used in places like France and Spain. The "SEE WE TOLD YOU SO YOU FRIGGIN SURRENDER MONKIES" would be priceless.

I agree. Also Israel's willingness to take on these terrorists indicates they do not have a fear of these terrorists using these WMD's against them. And the French as well as Putin's appearance of willingness to send their own in as peacekeepers is a bit telling as well.
