Good morning. I was just reading about the suit the Lebanese Americans are filing against our government. One amusing thing~~~~~~
"It also asks that the court order Rice and Rumsfeld to seek a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon's Hezbollah militia to enable US nationals to flee Lebanon, and to make better efforts to help them depart the country."This lawyer should just go ahead and disbar himself. He's the kind that give the rest of them such a bad press.

I'm just amazed that the legal eagles have taken so long to get ramped up.
Failure to heed, in a timely manner, the plaintive wail of an ambulance siren is universally considered a serious violation of various Canons and Ethical Considerations, so the Beirut Bar Association's finest have stepped bravely into the breach, too:

I heard about this on Brit Hume, and I almost sprayed my iced tea (it was before 5pm) all over.
This lawyer, these people, are beyond absurd. They are surreal.
As far as I'm concerned, we could have left all of them over there. They were stupid to be there in the first place. There have been State Dept. warnings for years, one as recently as May, to stay out of Lebanon and if you go, be sure to register. No military, no cruise line, no passing cargo ship should risk their lives and crew for morons such as these. Then these ex-pats want to sue. F' them and their braindead jackass of a lawyer.

The courts are unlikely to violate the separation of powers Doctrine here. POTUS is in charge of the issue, and the Lebanese of America have the ballot box.
It's a publicity stunt.
