Hezbollah terrorists fire a missile from the southern Lebanese city of Tyre.
The Kraut, Condi arrived in Lebanon and presented the reasonable terms for a truce. Of course the Hezzies are not prepared to accept and tried to pull their muzzie game of terms equaling nonsense.
So the game is at a standstill.

UN humanitarian chief accused Hizbullah of 'cowardly blending' among civilians
The U.N. humanitarian chief, returing from a visit to Beirut, accused Hizbullah on Monday of "cowardly blending" among Lebanese civilians and causing the deaths of hundreds.
"Consistently, from the Hizbullah heartland, my message was that Hizbullah must stop this cowardly blending ... among women and children," Egeland said, shortly before departing for Israel. "I heard they were proud because they lost very few fighters and that it was the civilians bearing the brunt of this. I don't think anyone should be proud of having many more children and women dead than armed men." (AP)
Gosh...I don't know...I was surprised to hear Brit say that also.
Hopefully, someone here on FR will have the answer. It would be scary, yet good at the same time, if it were true.
It sure would solidify the need for Israel to obliterate Hezbollah.
What did Brit say, I missed it
I doubt he's going to can Shep (now). But, to be fair, Brit did bring the panel into a discussion on the media's coverage of the situation, and gave Charles Krauthammer (sp) a lot of time to criticize the way Israel is portrayed...without having to mention Shep.
Brit's the *Washington D.C.* managing editor, not New York, where Shemp is based out of.
Wow...sometimes I have a good idea...I am stuned! LOL
Seriesly, I am glad you e-mailed him...
I am sure Freepers will be much happier wearing blue/white in support..than orange..
Isn't it funny how many just do not have orange clothes? I don't...never even think of buying orange..lol
Thank you so much for all you have done on this, EC!
well there has to be some kind of resolution. I don't think Israel wants to stay there any longer than necessary and we know Lebanon won't step up to the plate. So where does that leave us?
I bet the Kurds would be proud to lend a hand. But unfortunately they won't be able to do so as they are not a nation. Not yet anyway. But they act and defend as if they are and have secured the northern part of Iraq from terrorists pretty effectively.
It is the Prime Minister, Malaki. He's coming to visit the WH and Congress.
In Iraq, America liberated people yearning to live in freedom. May God bless our President and our fighting men and women.
So it IS the PM. I was cooking dinner and missed exactly who it was.
Well, I continue to doubt Congress has never hosted a guest before who didn't support Israel.
Yeah I love that one and the one from Dow Chemical that was just on.
The music reminds me of the Ken Burns series on the Civil War.
Lovely dog. Sharper than a stick!
Thanks. For clarifying. I know Brit's in charge of Washington news. Just that Brit's a bigwig and has lots of sway with higher ups was what I tried to convey.
I have a feeling that "privately", Bibi is saying the same thing you are...that they have the golden opportunity, with relatively NO roadblocks, to do what is necessary.
He is, like George Bush, a tough guy...and I am sure he is telling Olmert that he will publicly back him...IF he does this right.
It is so good to hear people point out that is what the Hissies do...hide in the civilian populations...use women and children to shield them.
There is a report that the bodies of Iranian Revolutionary Guards killed fighting in Lebanon are being sent to Syria....before they are sent back to Iran.
