Good points. I don't see any baklava, but what are those brown egg-shaped things on the left?

The brown balls are falafel, a vegeterian mix of beans that is deep fried and served in a sandwich with a sauce similar to a gyro sauce.
Both the Falafel and the more familiar Gyros (called shawarma) are the two national sandwiches of Lebanon, similar to our Hamburger and hot dog in the States.
