Last month, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled unanimously that death row inmates can challenge lethal injection as a civil rights issue. Justice John Marshall must be looking down with great disgust at the group of pathetic lightweights who currently infest the bench.

"I hope you repented and made your peace and you're up there with Jesus and the good thief."
Amen to that.

I join you in the hope that he repented and accepted the grace that is given to all just for the asking.

Hedrick chose the electric chair because he was apparently unnerved by the prospect of lethal injection..
Now that's interesting! I'm not sure why, but it is.

The guards "begin talking about lethal injection talking about being strapped down to the table, being made to wait long periods of time, the difficulty sometimes in finding a vein," Lee said. "That information coupled with general frustration produced this result." For some reason I can't help but suspect that the guards wanted that murderer to fry, lethal injection would be too kind.

What? Death by electocution is better (less painful, easier, quicker) than death by lethal injection?
Why would the guards promote the EC over LI? Sounds a little too much like the Green Mile to me. Ughh. Hated that scene.

Are you serious ? I have ZERO respect now for scalia and thomas. Show ponies when the media is around but show their true colors when nobody is watching.
