The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps calls itself a "project of the Declaration Alliance," although few MCDC volunteers know what the alliance does or why Minuteman donations are routed through the charity founded and headed by conservative activist Alan Keyes.
Several Minuteman leaders and members questioned the wisdom of ceding control over fundraising to the Herndon-based Declaration Alliance, part of an intricate weave of conservative organizations founded and chaired by Mr. Keyes or tied to longtime Keyes associates working with MCDC.
MCDC President Chris Simcox told The Washington Times that the alliance offers "an experienced organization for mass mailings, advertising and public relations" and the ability to conduct a "fully accredited and independent audit" of MCDC finances.
Mr. Simcox said he "checked these people out very carefully before agreeing to work with them" and that he made the "correct decision" in hiring "clean professional consultants, accountants and media professionals." He did not, however, disclose during an interview last week or in a 3,961-word follow-up statement how much Declaration Alliance and its affiliated organizations have been paid for their services
During the interview, he said, "Not one cent of MCDC money has been spent on alliance projects." The statement, released on the MCDC Web page, www.minutemanhq.com/hq/, does not mention Declaration Alliance or Mr. Keyes. ...."
"..Diener Consultants first contacted the Minuteman organization in early 2005, said Ms. Hair, the MCDC spokeswoman who also was a top adviser to Mr. Keyes in his presidential and senatorial races. She said she called Mr. Simcox after the Minuteman group was created to ask whether he had a media plan. After being told no, she said, she met with Mr. Simcox and Minuteman co-founder James Gilchrist in Washington and signed an agreement...."

You're the fall guy.
Oh. :-(
Well, pride goeth before....
Yes that might be risk you take Amelia lol. But it seems in the end that a certain politician that never has won a race in his life has done it repeatly and hasnt even got a parking ticket for it so you will be safe
By the way, I saw that Gilchrist washed his hands of Simcox. Did he wash his hands of the financial operation behind it?
Yes, this one shows up....thanks! :-)
Jolly good idea...I can always use a bit more pocket money. I would love to put a largish koi pond at the edge of my woods. :-)
Oh yeah. That pac is real interesting. I think what is occuring there is that will be the PAC that perhaps the non Simcox folks will have. Simcox will use the new Pac that was just formed weeks ago. Notice the old pac(Minuteman Inc) has not been disolved. This will give the appearance of seperation or at that is my theory. But there is one problem. Both pacs are registered at 2400 Earlsgate
I knew that one was mentioned and have been trying to find a link to it. I have to wonder if some of the Fence fund has been used to seed the new PAC and that is why the stall until November to publish records.
I think so too. I mean it Doesnt look to hard. The accountants don't even have to file timely papers when asked by the Government. Whenn asked to do so they just keep getting extensions. I never knew the Govt could be more so helpful in making me money. All the while we are not required to disclose anything. Oh yeah we need to set up our own payment service thing so we don't miss that buck. OF course we will all own that or hire one of our kids to run that.
That will be discussed at the annual Freedom Republic annual meeting in Monaco on whose relative gets hired for that
It could be all the money I saw in the last I looked was from the lady that owns politechs. Which by the way, I believe a certain campaign in California owes a huge campaign debt too last time I looked at those FEC statements. Anyway It could be in the Novemember reports your right. Whic of course will be after the accounting has been promised to be produced for 15 time from Dreiner and company.
Apparently it's possible to request a 3 month extension to the filing date, and then, if there is a reason, another 3 month extension. If both are used, the filing date becomes November 15.
The IRS apparently frowns on reporting after the election, however:
IRS Acts to Enforce Reporting and Disclosure by Section 527 Political GroupsIR-2004-110, Aug. 19, 2004
WASHINGTON The Internal Revenue Service announced today new steps to improve reporting and disclosure by tax-exempt section 527 political groups.
The new initiative will include contacting section 527 political groups whose filings appear to be incomplete, were filed late, or were amended and are materially different from the original filing. The fact that a group is not contacted at this time does not mean that the groups reports have been accepted as correctly filed.
The initiatives launch is timed in advance of key upcoming filing dates so that correct information is available to the public as intended by Congress.
[snip]
The purpose of section 527 groups is to engage in political activities. Under section 527 of the Internal Revenue Code, as modified in June of 2000 and November 2002, certain political groups must periodically file public disclosure reports with the IRS, rather than the Federal Election Commission. The statute requires these organizations to report their contributions and disbursements so that their support and operations are in the public domain in advance of elections.
"Our" groups seem to want to wait until after the election to release their information.
Best I can tell from what we've found, it's because they really aren't doing that much to influence the election with the money they collect.
We'll see if the IRS really acts on that....
We're all just playing around; but, unfortunately, the FACTS would appear otherwise, re the many headed/armed group of scammers you've uncovered.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm................................
Oh it gets worse go to this page link and I bet you recogmize this groups. I have donated to some of these lol

BUt you know what is funny, Since Gilchrist said he was seperating himself I am looking at his last statement at the FEC. Guess what it is registered where 2400 Earlsgate like everything else. His California campaign that is what.
There is American Caging, Response Unlimited and a 17000 debt to politechs. I wonder how that debt is being paid off

Everyone should read that first link; it's jaw dropping!
Yes, like you, I too wonder how/IF that debt is being paid.
not when it was first started -- she joined later.
Oh Subway canaries has done a lot on that. And that is just a few. Notice the Coalition for Judical fairness is not on there. No telling how many are absent. They multiply like rabbits
But each has it own FAX scam operation going on. Prob some have some pacs that operate like we seen. This is why the Fence is so important. Not only the funds. But to have a mailing list like that is gold. A mailing list that the minuatemen would have is so targeted its incredible in the bucks tthat can be made.
Of course the unanswered question is this. Under the guise of telemarketing do these groups send people into conservative forums and promote this groups? What conservative media do they own that promotes this and their "products" Have promenent bloggers been put on the payroll to promote these groups. As you can see a ton of money is being made.
she and her husband jack are real tight with vernon robinson
