Make that a case of beer.

Avivim makes perfect sense now. There's a 2400 foot pass that crosses the border 1.36 miles north of there, with no road through it, but served by a road on both ends, in Lebanon and Israel.

On either side of there, the hills run up above 3k and are rugged.

Just the sort of sleazy back alley you'd look in for Hizbollah vermin, probably very well establiished.

My guess would be that there is a local road servicable for tracked vehicles.
