Thanks. I probably read them, but with all these thousands of posts it is difficult to remember what you have seen, and where.
I thought it was good that you posted the photos. But it says something about AP.....
OFF TOPIC
THe President in on FNC giving a speech at the NAACP conference
What did he say that they laughed at?
We can hope...
Watching it....he's getting a cool reception....
Yeppers...I am serious...and angry.
Something about finally making it to there.
He said that some said "It's about time he's here." Big laugh from audience.
The girl who answered the phone seemed totally taken aback and only asked if I was coming to the Queen's Birthday Ball. LOL!!
Lets hope those folks in Lebonon who really need help have better luck with their embassies.
He told a joke about how he figured they were all thinking, "It is about time!"...
I am listening on the radio...and the applause sounds rather subdued...but, maybe in person or on TV it is better.
Nothing yet, and still pretty few rockets (let's pray that it stays that way).
There was one post quoting a post on a Hezbullah internet page that was claimed to be from Nesrallah.
Not much of a sign there.
This is worse applause than he got at Coretta Kings' funeral..sigh

Nasrallah´s Exact Fate Unknown

Israel Air Force fighter planes dumped 23 tons of explosives on a bunker believed to be housing the senior Hizbullah leaders Wednesday night. No confirmation on their condition has been received.
According to intelligence received by the IDF, the bunker, located in the Bourj al-Barajneh area of southern Beirut, housed the terror organizations most senior leadership. The intelligence was considered sufficiently reliable to justify a massive attack at around 8 PM, and another one at 11 PM. Dozens of planes took part in the attacks, and the building was totally destroyed.
Following the attack, Hizbullah released a statement via its Al-Manar TV broadcasts that the building was no more than a mosque under construction, and that the Hizbullah leadership was untouched.
IDF sources say it is possible that the above is true, given the depth of the bunker under the building. However, even if so, it is felt that keeping the charismatic Nasrallah trapped or leashed to an underground bunker - either the one that was bombed or another one - is also an achievement.
A senior IDF officer told Arutz-7's Kobi Finkler that Hizbullah has "dozens or more fortified bunkers along the border with Israel. The IDF will employ various means to find the bunkers, some of which have in fact been hit over the past few days." The officer said that the bunkers are dug to a depth of up to 40 meters (130 feet), and include "stocks of weapons and ammunition, as well as communication equipment for giving orders." He even estimated that terrorists sneak out nightly to perpetrate attacks.
In the meantime, the IDF continues Arabic broadcasts urging residents of southern Lebanon to evacuate the region, in order to avoid being targeted in the war against Hizbullah terrorists. Reports continue to indicate that Hizbullah is working to prevent the southern Lebanese area residents from traveling north; Hizbullah needs the civilians where they are to serve as their human shields.
Lebanese leaders continue to call upon the international community to halt the Israeli military operation, turning to the United Nations, the European Union and the Vatican to apply pressure on Jerusalem. Reports from Lebanon indicate 300 people have been killed, over 1,000 injured and close to a half-million displaced in the first week of Israeli assaults against Hizbullah.
More than 1,600 Katyuhas fired at Israel during first week of fighting
Cabinet Minister Isaac Herzog said Thursday that Hezbollah has fired more than 1,600 Katuysha rockets at Israel since hositilies began a week ago Wednesday.
Cabinet Secretary Yisrael Maimon said plans do exist for a large ground operation in Lebanon, but at the moment this is not on the agenda.
Secretary Maimon said the primary objective right now is the destruction of Hezbollah positions opposite Israel's northern border via pinpoint operations of small forces.

EU calls for ceasefire followed by int'l monitors in southern Lebanon
The European Union has called for a ceasefire in Lebanon and said an international peace keeping mission may be needed after the violence ends.
The prime minister of Finland, which currently holds the rotating EU presidency, said what is needed now is a strong international presence in southern Lebanon, approved by the United Nations Security Council. He said that first all parties to the conflict must commit to a ceasefire.
In New York, UN Secretary General Kofi Annan will convene a meeting of the 15 nation Security Council on Thursday in an effort to formulate steps to end Israel's operations in Lebanon. He will meet later with U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to discuss U.S. opposition to calling for a ceasefire before Hezbollah is disarmed.

Hezbollah reportedly rejects German proposal to end hostilities
A Kuwaiti newspaper reports that Germany has presented Lebanon and Israel with a proposal calling for the release of captive IDF soldiers in exchange for an end to the IDF bombardment of Lebanon, a pullout of IDF forces currently operating in the Gaza Strip, and the release of Hamas legislators and cabinet ministers arrested by Israel in June.
Hezbollah has reportedly rejected the proposal, demanding the release of Palestinian and Lebanese prisoners, and an end to the Israeli strikes as a condition for negotiations.
The newspaper did not say how Israel responded to the reported German proposal.
In another development, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has accused Hamas leadership in Damascus of sabotaging efforts to resolve the crisis over kidnapped IDF soldier Corporal Gilad Shalit, who was abducted in a Palestinian raid on an army position south of the Gaza Strip in June.
President Mubarak told the Egyptian newspaper Al-Musawar that the matter of Hezbollah is an internal Lebanese issue, and his country will not intervene.

Lebanese PM wants help in halting Israeli raids, then disarming Hezbollah
Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora says the international community must help Lebanon disarm Hezbollah. In an interview with Italy's Corriere Della Sera newsppaer, Siniora said the Israeli bombardments have just increased popularity of the Shiite group.
Prime Minister Siniora said Hezbollah has become a state within a state, and that it follows the political agendas of Damascus and Teheran. But, he said, the first thing is for a ceasefire to be obtained to stop the Israeli actions.

I don't want to seem unsympathetic - but this all does not seem right to me. They have a dual citizenship but live there, not here, by chioce... and now choose to leave/run (maybe instead of defending their country?) and we say ok and foot the bill?
