No matter what the pilots do they will be demagogued for collateral damage. In a normal war, if there is such a thing, collateral damage is a little bit more controllable. In this war it is inevitable since the terrorists are hiding inside the homes and buildings of the people.
It's a terrible situation for a pilot to be put in. He knows there will be civilian casualties o matter how good his aim.

As we know, there are many Hizbullah, and some sympathizers within the Lebanese government, and military. But that's not all of them. So who in the army would particiapte, and to what degree seems unclear.
