Defying the will of Congress (remember these votes in November!), President Bush sent a veto message (read the president's message here), that he would not sign HR 810, the "Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act of 2005."
President Bush addressed the situation in Lebanon while meeting with members of Congress in the White House.
Secretary of State Rice met at the State Department today: New Zealand's Minister of Foreign Affairs Winston Peres, and Belgium's Foreign Minister Karel De Gucht. Next week she is scheduled to attend Southeast Asia's top security forum.
JimRob has installed software that monitors the IP address of computers and their respective nics. He's caught multiple "duplicate" posters and banned them as I think is appropriate.
I've raised this issue in the past - and when the Mods got involved, it always turned out to be one person with several and very often more than two, nics.
I'm a day late but I couldn't help but offer the suggestion.
No, seriously........they used the same vocabulary and had the same undisguised hate for the President BECAUSE of his faith.
As for the mental illness/drink/demon possession angle of things......
Wolfstar, you're right in that 'mental illness' gives them a pass that they don't deserve.
Drink is a good possibility, but I too don't dismiss the possibility of the demonic here..........or perhaps both.
Irrational hatred of God and those who follow Him is clearly of Satan. How the Enemy exactly is manifesting himself in them is not really discernable.
The bottom line here for me, is that these poor lost souls (even if there are two sharing one soul), really need our prayer. They don't want it. They scream at us if we say we're doing it..........but they NEED it.
From the examples you posted, Jonny, I'd say your suspicions are well founded. I'm absolutely convinced there's more of this going on here (and probably most internet forums) than we realize. Political forums are perfect places for propagandists, whether paid or volunteer, to operate at will -- especially if they're savvy enough to use techniques that make them impossible to detect.
< font color=purple>Hello!< /font>
:)
These two.......or one........are particularly vicious. I don't think they should be roaming around on this forum unchecked.
Now I'm sorry I didn't get in on the discussion. That would have been a fascinating one to discuss with folks who sincerely were interested in exploring the question. From what you all have said about the troll, though, it doesn't seem like he really wanted to do that. Sounds like he just wanted to stir the pot and be provocative.
I started to write way too much to post on here, so I've sent it via FReepmail.
How are you doing? Feel free to reply via FReepmail. ;o)
I don't know if that particular thread y'all were talking about is still going, but I don't think it would hurt to go back to it and ask the Mods to talk a look at several of the posts that have been raised as being very suspiciously identical in language.
Of course, you can always wait until the next time because with those who are demented, we KNOW there will be a "next time". :o)

I never thought about it until you mentioned it on the Dose a couple weeks ago. It makes so much sense. There are legitimate dissenters here, I know, but sometimes when they swarm a particular thread, I wonder where they all came from. The idea that some have multiple screen names would certainly explain some of it.
I have seen people like this on FR before, over the last 10 years. They are simply trying to create discord, and all the while they are acting like they are simply interested in hearing opinions. It is a crock. The poster is a disruptor.
If y'all decide to notify the mods, please see posts 275 and 277 for other examples of similar language. (I forgot to add you in the To: box, sorry)
< font color=purple>Hello!< /font>
< font color=gold>((((Thank you!))))
Now I can just refer back
to the ping until it's old hat!< /font>
The last post was 10 minutes ago.
oops couldn't get it! Will practice.
Not via more colorized ping attempts to you though...
Till I get it.
It looks like you have a space between your < and the word font. Remove the space and it should work.
That is a very good catch, jonny and I doubt it's innocent. Wolfstar has detailed how people with two computers or a certain type of software can have two different screen names and the mods aren't any the wiser.
I'll have to pay attention to things like this more carefully in the future.
(Sorry if I left anybody off of the 'ping' for this response. It's late for me and my memory is fading, fast.)
I don't think it would matter when it's done. If someone is using more than one screen name and he/she is not saavy enough to do it from at least two separate computers, using two separate phone lines and ISP's, then they can be caught no matter if it's "in the moment" or later.
True. You did the right thing last night, Ohio, when you told Loon that God loves him even if he doesn't love God. He just hissed and spat.
He definitely needs prayer.
In addition, the use of certain "key" phrases by the two of them would raise a whole lot of suspicion on my part that it is one and the same poster.
