"So let's have the names of these politicians who are eating primates."
I can think of a few who ACT like primates: Kennedy, McCain, Pelosi, Frankenfeinstein, Schumer, Lautenberg
(HEY - He's ALIVE!!! I saw him TALKING on TV the other day!!!).

Well, there aren't any sheep around in Africa, so, well, those Brokeback Mountain types, well, you know.

This reminds me of a cartoon in the New Yorker from about 30 odd years ago, showing a bunch of New Yorkers crowding into a diner, munching on stacked piles of hamburgers advertised at only 5 cents each. The caption was "What New York Did With Kong's Body".

I assume that is a joke? Not really. Ignoring the "food" part, it's the private ownership of the animals that protects the species. "Public ownership" of any asset, including animals or the environment, tends to result in the decay of that asset. If the animal doesn't belong to any particular person, then there is no one with a vested interested in protecting and breeding the species...

HAHAH...I thought the rats kept him in a box somewhere, he's hardly ever seen. I think he simply filled a square for the rats in that election.

>>>"Bush meat" consumption is widespread >>>
Susan Sarandan and Sean Penn were quite surprised to learn that they were not, in fact, enjoying a fine meal George W. Bush carcass, but wild gorillas.
They have entered therapy for an undesignated amount of time.

Great green globs of greasy grimy gopher guts!
(cont'd -- everybody sing!!)
Great, great gobs of slimy, greasy gopher guts
Little, dirty birdie feet
Mutilated monkey meat
Great, great gobs of slimy, greasy gopher guts
And me without a spoon!
(This is how I remember the song)

Last time I looked, no one was raising gorillas for food so hunting can wipe them out. The enviros don't understand that if cows were *not* raised for food you would only see that species in a zoo.
