Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday promised a "rejoicing" for Muslims in the Middle East "soon," the Islamic Republic News Agency reported.
Referring to escalating violence in Lebanon and northern Israel, he was quoted as saying, "The Zionists themselves have realized that they have launched a risky move and are aware that the flame of the fury of the regional states will set them ablaze."

Call him "smelly".
It was reported that a few Iranians started calling him that and he went bonkers.
Bush should start calling him that too.
Yeah right the checks in the mail.
At least I hope it's only the middle and not closer to the end.
"Never forget this fat sack..."
I think that's Hussein Ibish in drg.
Yeah, when they are freed Ahmadinejad.
I amu sure that this means that there will be some sort of attack on Israel that is more devastating than that which we have seen so far. I think that Iran is waiting until they think there will be a shift in the opinions of muslim countries indicating that in an all-out war, that muslim countries will come in on their side.
All I can say is that Israel and the US need to have nuclear weapons readied and pointing at multiple targets in Iran.
A madman. That's the only name i have for someone who would set the world on fire and destroy it.
Arabic is just naturally bombastic. Wasn't some Maliki type talking not too long ago to Americans saying such pearls as, "We have seen the flower of your friendship, the lion of your courage ........"
I miss Baghdad Bob.
But that assumes that they'd use it. They might just threaten to use it, and blackmail our trading partners to cut off the flow of oil.
It's a race - will they use WMD's before we figure them out? Or maybe use them just to threaten and blackmail?
In a worst case scenario, I think they'll know they've only got one bite of the apple ... and they'll make that bite count. They'll take out Israel, London and New York - maybe a few other cities on the same day - and have someone in Washington with the message that more cities will be taken out if there's any retaliation. As Newt would say, "what would we do then"?
Within the insanity of the ME mindset is the fantasy of Israel's power. ME folks believe that Israel and the West are keeping them from their rightful place as rulers of the world ... keeping them from wealth and happiness.
What Muslims don't understand is if all the democracies in the world ceased to exist tomorrow, their Muslim counties would still be awful. They would still be at war - if not with us, with each other.
The West and Israel aren't keeping them down, they have societies based on ideas that don't work. We laugh at democrats who haven't had a new idea in 40 years ... well, Muslims societies haven't had a new idea in hundreds of years. That's their problem. It's not us. It's not Israel. It's them. They are their own worst enemy. That's the race. Will they, with our help, be able to see the vaguest shadow of reality? Or will they remain blinded to the light? Our lives depend on the answer.
Sure hope it's a poker game we're watching...
Tell me more about the Maliki type and what was said in what context... Share more...
The West and Israel aren't keeping Muslim countries down. Muslims don't understand this... Muslim cultures are based on ideas that don't work.

They will rejoice when he's pushing daisies.
If this is true, I think there could be open warfare on the streets of the U.S. with Muslims... even if they don't attempt to bomb us.
Tolerance for this "religion of peace" is wearing thin.
He looks like my idiot former neighbor. I knew I hated that guy for a reason!
I know. He sounds like a ham actor in a "sword and sandal" B movie. They all sound that way.
They do.

Considering the war he was referring to essentially gave birth to the war we're in now, Saddam's hyperbole wasn't too far off.
