Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday promised a "rejoicing" for Muslims in the Middle East "soon," the Islamic Republic News Agency reported.

Referring to escalating violence in Lebanon and northern Israel, he was quoted as saying, "The Zionists themselves have realized that they have launched a risky move and are aware that the flame of the fury of the regional states will set them ablaze."

I think people (in Washington, most importantly) need to stop joking and brushing him off, and start taking these as the threats they are meant to be. And respond appropriately to threats against us.

One thing that we need to remember, is that anything short of Israel achieving their objectives against Hamas and Hizbollah will be trumpeted acreoss the Muslim world as a defeat of Isreal and America. With all of the stupid attempts to get Israel to stop their action, you can count on the fact that the Muslims will "rejoice" over the defeat they have inflicted on us.

Uh oh. I don't like the sound of this at all. Feverish work toward production of a N-weapon and then, apparent silence and inactivity for the past few months.
