Tancredo advanced a guest worker program, along with border security, in 2003. IOW, he promoted a plan almost identical to Pence's.
But, now, Tancredo blasts Pence's plan because Tancredo needs illegal immigration as an issue. He has no intention of signing off on any plan that would remove it from the radar.
