Always remember to substitute the words " alderman and commissioner " for " Commissar " , it helps keep these things in perspective .

They have weighed a proposal to force cabbies to dress better. How many would consider a proposal forcing cabbies to shower or put a heath warning label on the cab?
Would prop 65 already cover this in Calif?

10 murders in Chicago this weekend; all handgun crimes. Guns are prohibited in Chicago.
One of the worst school systems.
Continued decline of middle class families.
losing population.
loss of manufacturing base continues. No longer leader in toolmaking, candy, meat processing, steel, forgings, plastics, anything industrial.
Good for yuppie businesses, financial purveyors, bad art galleries, homo businesses.
CLEAN AIR!........ no industry, that's why.
Great for distribution...

Know this is the self-congratulatory 'Liberal Collective' at work; and relishing their assumptions of power here; as they imagine that not only our wealth is in their hands but our health. . .(not to mention their list of inclusives that makes for the 'rest of their story'. . .)
So really, why do we put up with this? Where is the outrage? Could we have a 'National Nanny-nazis Job Fair' ; and encourage them to get 'real jobs'? Could we at least, shine the 'light of truth' on what really animates these people?
In a world filled with the outrageous; are we just too tired to tell these folks where to go?
Whatever. . .ignoring them is not enough. Placating them. . .tolerating them is not enough.
We must stop 'nanny-nazism'; before it is too late. . .

I guess it wont be long before before the illegal potato raids begin, along with aerial searches for illegal potato fields.
And pork? Fugeddaboutit! It had 2 strikes against it already. Pork possession will be a Capital Offense, punishable by stoning.
Gosh, isn't it curious how 2 supposedly different ideals merge seamlessly.
I do draw some satisfaction in knowing that one day, a retired Drug Warrior will be arrested & his property seized, because his grand kids saw his potato chip & cola stash & told their teacher/cell leader.
God help us. again. soon.

Edward M. Burke, who has served on the Chicago City Council since 1969, when cooking oil was just cooking oil, is pressing his colleagues to make it illegal for restaurants to use oils that contain trans fats, which have been tied to a string of health problems, including clogged arteries and heart attacks.
Ed Burke has always been good for a laugh. The sick thing is that folks like this have a means of imposing their own scruples on others.

The hypocrisy of Liberalism knows no bounds: they want to stop you from putting "bad for you fats" in your mouth but no one's supposed to care when gays put aids infected "fats" in their mouths in public parks and bathrooms.
